Trent B. Speckhals

Trent Speckhals founded Speckhals Law, P.C. in 1998, where he is devoted to representing the families of those killed and people who are severely injured by others. His practice areas include pharmacy and prescription errors, defective and dangerous products, electrocution, burn, drowning, deck collapse, and crash cases, as well as legal malpractice. Previously, Trent was at Kilpatrick Townsend, LLP.

Trent graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. While working full time as an Account Executive and then Sales Director at AT&T, Trent attended Georgia State University’s College of Law, where he was a member of Law Review and Moot Court, and graduated cum laude in 1993. He also served on the White House Advance Team for President George H.W. Bush.

Trent is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and is an Eagle Scout. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine and has been selected to Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite. Trent is an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University College of Law where he teaches Lawyering Advocacy.

Trent’s article on prescription errors, Not What the Doctor Ordered, was published in the national magazine, TRIAL. He has been interviewed and featured in numerous newspapers and news programs, including World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, CBS46 News, WSB-TV, ABC News, the Fulton County Daily Report, and Courtroom View Network.
