Attorney George Melville Johnson has a deep-seated interest in the nuances of federal employment law. His expertise in this area has led to an impressive record, representing individuals, federal employees for almost 30 years. During his esteemed career, Mr. Johnson has successfully negotiated against dozens of federal agencies. He has brought cases before the US Supreme Court and most federal courts of appeals. Known for his well-reasoned arguments, he delights in turning business problems into capital opportunities. In short, Mr. Johnson combines insightful litigation strategy and ferocious trial skills with a notable depth of federal arbitration, employment problems, litigation and negotiation experience.

Educated at Repton School, England, and The McCallie School, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mr. Johnson holds a BA from Washington & Lee University and a JD from the University of Tennessee, with additional course work at Harvard University. Beyond his extensive legal education and professional experience, it’s the personal side of Mr. Johnson’s approach that makes working with Melville Johnson such a unique and positive experience.
