About Us
Jereme Baker, an expert attorney in Denver CO, exemplifies his passion for helping others with his legal experience. Jereme earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Colorado. He gained valuable federal court experience when he externed for Chief Judge Wiley Daniel at the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.
Jereme also volunteered as legal counsel for the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. After law school, Jereme clerked for the Boulder County Housing Authority, Department of Health and Human Services. After successfully completing the bar exam, Jereme soon gained significant trial experience when he served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office.
Jereme is active in a number of professional organizations including the Sam Cary Bar Association, and the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He also volunteers at Manual High School as an assistant football coach, and tutors elementary age kids. Jereme firmly believes in treating every client with patience, respect and integrity.

Brian Petz
Brian Petz, an attorney in the Denver metro area and surrounding communities, is passionate about helping families and their loved ones through what can be very emotional and trying experiences.
Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Philosophy from Florida State University (2012). Brian earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado, graduating in the top third of his class, and was admitted to the practice of law in Colorado in 2015.
While earning his Juris Doctor, Brian focused on business law, taxation, Wills, Trusts, and Estates, in addition to working as a research assistant in the area of privacy and technology.
Brian joined the Baker Law Group in 2014 as a law clerk and is now an associate at the firm. He is a member of the Colorado, Arapahoe, and Adams County Bar Associations, and an active member of the Elder Law and Trust & Probate Sections of the Colorado Bar Association. During his spare time, Brian enjoys hiking, climbing, and playing hockey.
Maya Soares Bacellar
Maya is a foreign attorney from Brazil, where she graduated from “Centro Universitário Curitiba” with her Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.).
Maya moved to the United States in 2013 to study the American legal system at the Michigan State University College of Law. Maya received her LL.M (Master of Laws) in American Legal System from Michigan State University College of Law in December, 2014.
She moved to Colorado in January, 2015, and has worked as a Legal Assistant with the Baker Law Group since April, 2015, where she continues to hone and expand her experience in the American legal system.
