OPIOID LITIGATION
The manufacturers and distributors of prescription opioids such as OxyContin and Oxycodone concealed the dangerous addictive nature of those products from physicians and the public, engaged in a concerted marketing effort to mislead the public about the use of those prescribed medications, and failed to monitor, detect and report to the government alarming information about prescription trends with opiates over a period of years. As a result, the United States finds itself in an opioid crisis which has foisted substantial costs and damages on individuals as well as government entities such as counties and cities, now and into the future, to abate this public crisis. Conley Griggs Partin LLP is currently representing multiple counties and cities in Georgia, and is actively seeking to consult with and represent individuals, counties, cities, hospitals or others who have incurred damages from this opioid crisis, or will incur damages in the future to address the crisis. If retained, our firm will work closely with each individual client to develop a customized damages analysis and fight for a maximum recovery from the manufacturers and distributors.
