Dennis, Corry, Porter & Smith, L.L.P. (Defense Litigation Practice in All State and Federal Courts)

Dennis, Corry, Smith & Dixon, L.L.P. was formed in 1985 for the express purpose of defending motor carriers and truck insurers. Prior to that time, Robert E. Corry Jr practiced with Douglas Dennis, who began his legal career in 1938 after graduating from Emory University School of Law. Mr. Corry joined Mr. Dennis in 1964 and the two regularly represented motor carriers and their insurers until Mr. Dennis’ retirement.

After graduating from the University of Georgia, Grant B. Smith joined the firm in 1987 and became partner in 1994. John D. Dixon graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1996, immediately joined DCPS, and became partner in January of 2001.
