The Chestnut Firm was founded by attorney Christopher M. Chestnut, a nationally renowned personal injury lawyer and one of the country’s most successful up-and-coming attorneys. Mr. Chestnut’s urban roots in a service-oriented business instilled fundamental values of dignity and respect that provide a strong foundation for the practice today.
Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Chestnut worked in his family’s funeral home business. The Chestnut Funeral Home was established in 1914 and continues to draw on a legacy spanning more than 100 years. By guiding bereaved families through the devastating loss of a loved one, Mr. Chestnut gained unique insight into the emotional, financial and physiological toll of tragic accidents. He translates that insight into a passion for pursuing justice on behalf of injury victims and their loved ones.
