About Mary Lewis Law
mary-lewisGrowing up the daughter of a naval officer and prisoner of war taught me a lot about both hardship and service, and I always knew I wanted to work to help people who found themselves in difficult circumstances. Before going to law school, I worked as the lead paralegal managing over 1500 Dalkon Shield class action cases, where I worked closely with injured women and their families. Later, I worked as a trust officer for AmSouth Bank, assisting clients and their families in need of trust services and other legal needs, like settling estates and obtaining disability benefits.
I earned my Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University in 2007. After graduating, I worked for a small Atlanta law firm where I found myself mainly working in defense of insurance companies, rather than for injured individuals. Eager to fight on behalf of the injured and otherwise disadvantaged, I opened my firm in 2010.
Today, I work with clients throughout Metro Atlanta to help them get their lives back on track after experiencing debilitating personal injury.
I am a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Atlanta Bar Association, DeKalb Bar Association, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice.
I am admitted to practice in all Georgia trial and appellate courts; U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
