History
Two highly reputable law firms emerged during the same period in Columbus history. Isaac Brant Ledman & Teetor LLP opened its doors in 1936, and Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner Co. LPA came along just four years later. Both firms developed a strong reputation for quality service and dependability, backed by a culture that emphasized client collaboration.
Partners at Isaac Brant came from prominent positions in city and state government, and even today that tradition continues. Many of the partners play an integral role as leaders in various civic, charitable, and professional organizations. At the same time, Isaac Brant attorneys have always been known for their ability to avoid costly trials and lawyer-generated expenses whenever possible and when consistent with successful client representation. Nevertheless, if and when litigation is a threat, these same attorneys are experienced in all levels of the state and federal courts.
Since its early days of focusing primarily on insurance defense litigation, Wiles Boyle has greatly expanded its expertise to include a wide range of practice areas. In 2013 these firms came together as Isaac Wiles Burkholder & Teetor LLC, merging two teams of experienced professionals under one roof.
