Welcome to the law office of attorney Douglas R. Jackson and Jessa M. Gary. Located in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio. We know that the process of working through probate issues and making financial decisions can be overwhelming. Frustration and anxiety can stem from dealing with the complexities of today’s legal system.
Attorney Douglas R. Jackson received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Ohio University in 1972. While working at Eaton Corporation in Kentucky, he received his MBA from Western Kentucky University in Finance and Marketing in 1977.
Mr. Jackson has had several responsible positions in the business world, including acting as Chairman/CEO of Traub, a large German company with its American subsidiary headquartered in Long Island, New York. Mr. Jackson’s law degree was received from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in September 1984. Doug Jackson is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, Worthington Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the American Cancer Society Planned Giving Council and Tax/Planned Giving Advisor to the Catholic Foundation.
He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys which is a non-profit association that assists lawyers, bar organizations and others who work with older clients and their families. He especially enjoys estate planning for the individual and family farm.
