Overview:
Goldman & Braunstein use their expertise by representing land and property owners facing eminent domain situations. Eminent domain, as a government sanctioned procedure, lead many people to believe that they cannot fight the process. This simply is not true. Goldman & Braunstein repeatedly demonstrate their level of expertise and success in negotiating eminent domain compensations for farmland, rural, urban, residential, and commercial property owners.
Our attorneys, Michael Braunstein and William Goldman, have extensive development experience.
A tenured professor at The Ohio State University, Michael Braunstein authored legal textbooks on mineral law as well as eminent domain and property law.
William Goldman serves as a board member of the Ohio Housing and Development board as well as the Franklin County Veteran’s Memorial. He currently lends his expertise as a board member of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and is one of only two eminent domain attorneys listed in Ohio Super Lawyers, (an organization that rates the service of lawyers on the basis of peer recognition and professional achievement).
