Solicitors Regulation Authority – accredited Personal Injury

Stripes Solicitors are recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as having particular expertise and competence in Personal Injury Law.

The Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme covers all work undertaken by solicitors and Fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX) on behalf of victims and their dependants, or compensators, as to their rights and obligations arising out of any alleged act of negligence or breach of statutory duty as a result of which the victim has sustained personal injuries or fatal injuries. The scheme covers all types of personal injury work.
The expertise of scheme members in a given area of law has been verified and their accomplishment is recognised by the Law Society.
The scheme promotes high standards in legal service provision and ensures that clients are easily able to identify legal practitioners with proven competency in given areas of law. They also ensure that scheme members maintain relevant standards of competency and expertise by means of periodic reselection, re-accreditation and re-authorisation.

CSA Membership – Credit Services Association

Stripes Solicitors are members of the CSA, a national association for companies in the debt collection and service industry.

We have been successfully recovering business debts for over 20 years, be they highly complex, high volume matters or one off straight forward claims. Our Commercial Debt Recovery department is one of only three law firms in the UK to be granted membership of the CSA and the Commercial Litigation department, is independently recommended in the Legal 500, Andrew Stripe being a recognised market leader within this area of law.

DRI Membership

Stripes Solicitors are members of the DRI.

The DRI is the international membership organisation of all lawyers involved in the defense of civil litigation and is committed to;

•Enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and professionalism of defense lawyers;
•Anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system;
•Promoting appreciation of the role of the defense lawyer; and
•Improving the civil justice system and preserving the civil jury.

DRI International’s mission is to develop a global network of lawyers focused on the international and multi-national aspects of the practice of law. More and more often, it is obvious to companies who operate internationally and to their counsel that decisions made and actions taken in one part of the world significantly impact available choices and results elsewhere. It is incumbent upon those companies and the ever increasing group of lawyers who serve such clients’ increasing needs to understand the implications of the internationalization of law and to have knowledgeable lawyers available to them to provide insight and guidance. DRI International provides a forum to bring together international clients and in-house and outside counsel who represent them, as well as U.S. multi-national companies and their inside and outside counsel.
