Firm Overview

The Manton Law Firm, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, is dedicated to providing our clients with the type of personalized, one on one legal representation that many law firms no longer provide. Some firms have over hundreds of clients, and those clients almost never get to speak directly to their attorney. We work hard to develop personal relationships with each client, and we are committed to keeping our client list small so that these personal relationships are possible. When you hire us you will work directly with your attorney, as opposed to an unlicensed “case manager” often used by other law firms.

Our firm is committed to preparing each case for trial by jury. Most personal injury, auto accident, truck accident, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence lawsuits are settled outside of court. Unfortunately, this causes some law firms to fall into the “settlement trap.” They do not fully prepare and investigate their case because they think it will eventually settle. These firms almost never get maximum settlement results, because the opponent realizes the firm isn’t ready to go the distance for their clients. At The Manton Law Firm, we prepare each and every case to go to trial. While our first goal is always to work out a fair settlement, we believe that it is essential to be ready and willing for trial by jury when the insurance companies, nursing homes, hospitals or business corporations do not negotiate fairly.

We believe that one of the most important goals of our personal injury and wrongful death cases is to “Prevent Repeats.” That is, we work hard to get our clients fair compensation for what happened and also to make sure that whatever happened to our client does not happen to someone else in the future. Unfortunately, many nursing homes, hospitals, insurance companies, and business corporations do not care enough about “Preventing Repeats.” Sadly, they become more concerned about covering up their negligence, abuse or wrongdoing than with taking responsibility for their conduct and making changes to avoid repeat occurrences. One of the most common things our clients tell us is: “I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again to someone else.” We realize how important this goal is, and we understand that hiring a lawyer is often the only way to get powerful insurance companies, nursing homes, hospitals, and business corporations to acknowledge their mistakes.

Pursuit of justice, relief for the injured, and prevention of future acts of negligence are the reasons we practice law at The Manton Law Firm, LLC. Discuss your case with an Atlanta personal injury attorney. Contact us by phone or email for a free consultation.

Since opening The Manton Law Firm, LLC in 2006, Jason has obtained verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients in both medical malpractice and automobile collision cases that have received state-wide recognition and publication, including a $550,000 medical malpractice verdict against a hospital after one of its nurses caused permanent nerve damage in a patient’s hand due to a negligently-administered arterial blood gas test. In 2011, Jason also won a landmark appellate court decision in front of the Georgia Supreme Court that helps establish medical privacy guidelines for people who bring personal injury lawsuits.
