Margaret H. Tyre, former Senior Partner of the firm, retired in 2014, having practiced law in Westchester County since 1979. She formed her own firm in Rye, New York in 1980. Margaret concentrated her practice in the areas of Matrimonial Law, Trusts and Estates and Real Estate Law. Margaret was a founding member of the Association of Collaborative Lawyers of Rockland-Westchester, which was formed to offer an alternative process for divorce.
Frances A. DeThomas is the principal attorney in the firm and leads the firm’s matrimonial litigation practice. Frances has handled numerous matters in both Supreme and Family Court and she has represented clients in all phases of matrimonial and family law litigation involving issues of equitable distribution, maintenance, child custody and child support. She is also a certified mediator, receiving a post graduate certification in mediation from the Center for Mediation in Law and is a collaborative divorce attorney.
