Members of chambers are regularly involved in many of the high-profile cases and transactions in Mauritius and have extensive experience representing clients before all levels of the local justice system from tribunals to courts including the Supreme Court of Mauritius as well as before international courts such as the COMESA Court of Justice.
Chambers was founded in 1971 by current head of chambers Rashad Daureeawo SC. All of our members are qualified barristers (Middle Temple, UK) or attorneys. Chambers can be instructed as a firm or members can be instructed individually. Members are pleased to work alongside external lawyers, other law firms, and in-house teams.
