We are a fourth generation law firm based in the IT Capital of India- Bangalore. We provide a wide range of services to our clients. Our law firm being a family based law firm strives to provide its clients a good, reliable and affordable service.Mandgi Associates is a full service Fourth Generation Law Firm. The Law Firm is headed by a designated Senior Counsel (equivalent of a Queen’s Counsel in England) and also have lawyers with varied experience and practice. The Law firm was started in 1925 at Bombay (India) and later the operation of the law firm shifted to Bangalore,India. Our law Firm being a family concern with years of standing reputation in the Bangalore city has a very conservative method in dealing with the clients and also in terms of the law matters being handled.
History
Mr.A A Mandgi, the Founder of the firm was a lawyer Attorney practicing mainly in the area of criminal practice. He was also the Public Prosecutor of Bombay, which was also known as Bombay State.
Mr. Narayan Rao Mandgi, son of A.A Mandgi was the second generation lawyer to continue the practice of the firm. He started his practice in Bombay in 1954. After reorganization of the States in India, on 1st Nov 1956, Belgaum, the native place of Mandgi family became a part of the State of Mysore presently known as Karnataka State. In view of the reorganization of States the office was shifted to Bangalore in 1956 where the High Court of Karnataka is located.
The firm is carrying on its practice in Bangalore from 1956 till date.
Mr. Anant Mangi, the 3rd generation lawyer, started his career in 1984 under the able guidance of his father late Sri. Narayan Rao Mangdi (who expired in 1992). At present Anant Mandgi, his wife Ujwala A Mandgi , their son Amit Mandgi and their other associates are carrying on their law practice at Bangalore.
Our Values

Every associate of the firm is given equal responsibility and is accountable to the clients. The clients can access any of the associates at any point of time and can seek advise through any media.

Philosophy
Most of the associates are advocates who practice in courts. The concept of Solicitors firm is not common in Bangalore. Most of the law firms play a dual role of Solicitors and Advocates.
