Founded by two attorneys who left a larger firm in 1995, KM has grown and consists of approximately 11 employees. The two partners collectively represent almost 50 years of law practice experience. Each partner has many years of knowledge and can use this to help their clients. KM achieved the preeminent Martindale Hubble AV rating for quality of legal services and professionalism. Together with the associate attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and legal staff, the Firm looks forward to the future by focusing on long-term relationships with its clients, employees and the surrounding community.

Tom Kenney
attorney Tom Kenney PhotoAfter working at a larger firm at which he was offered a partnership after approximately 5 years as an associate, Tom chose to start his own firm, Kenney & Solomon, P.C. In addition to representing and counseling small business owners, banks, finance companies and lending institutions, Tom wanted to expand his practice representing individuals in cases. Tom is achieving that goal in his new Firm, having handled hundreds of jury trials, arbitrations, mediations and bench trials, as well as appeals in both state and federal court. His experience includes achieving significant appellate court victories for clients, and obtaining by settlement or verdict significant recoveries for individual clients in a wide variety of cases including but not limited to contract, fraud, car wrecks, tractor trailer wrecks, nursing home/malpractice cases and premises liability claims.
John Medina
Attorney John Medina PhotoJohn A. Medina has resided in metropolitan Atlanta since moving here in 1978. John graduated from Georgia State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He then obtained his law degree from Mercer University in 1989.
After graduating from law school, John practiced with a mid-sized, then small law firm in Atlanta until he moved his practice to Kenney & Solomon, P.C. in 1999. John became a partner at Kenney & Solomon, P.C. in 2001. John’s practice areas have been primarily in the areas of: 1) creditors’ rights, both in bankruptcy court and state court, 2) small business representation, including business formation, transactional, contracts, resolution of small business disputes and commercial litigation; and 3) wills, estates and probate. John also has experience in bankruptcy adversary proceeding litigation and representation of the Chapter 7 Trustee in bankruptcy cases.
