Yidao Law Firm is a leading full-service law group in Tianjin. Headquartered at the Heping Chuangxin Building in the central business district of Tianjin, our group features a 1000-square-meters office with a comfortable and convenient work environment. We also have branches in Los Angeles, London and Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone of Tianjin. Our group currently comprises two law firms (Yidao Law Firm and Sunrise Law firm), and focuses on different areas of expertise.

Since the establishment of our group in 2005, Yidao has become one of the largest law firms in Tianjin, ranking the fourth among other three hundred law firms.

Founded in 2011, our group has been recognized as the first and the only law group in the metropolitan Tianjin area. Our new form of organization has enabled us to conduct better management and provide more specialized services. Over the years, our firm has earned a reputation in such areas as outward direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, international trade, and intellectual property.

Thanks to its rapid development in recent years, Yidao has become one of the largest and leading full-service law firms in Tianjin, and has ranked fourth place among 400 law firms in terms of turnover. As a large professional law firm consisting of more than 60 lawyers and staff, Yidao has formed a pattern where corporate business, real estate, merger and acquisition and foreign investment are regarded as its core business, while financial and AMC business, securities and funds (legal affairs of listed companies, OTC, PE…), overseas business development of domestic enterprises (ODI), labor relationship and HR management, intellectual property and other legal specialized fields are under coordinated and stable development. Our People

Our legal team is an efficient combination of both local lawyers and lawyers with international background. Our group has recruited and hired not only graduates from top law schools, but also experts in other areas. We currently have 65 full-time lawyers and assistants, 10 cooperating lawyers (including scholar lawyers from colleges and universities) and 5 senior counsels, among whom 2 have Doctors Degrees, 11 Masters Degrees, 3 foreign Master Degrees in law, and more than 10 lawyers with double degrees in MBA, law and other disciplines such as engineering and economics. They can offer legal services in fluent English, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian and other foreign languages. All of our partners are successful practitioners in their fields with extensive practical experiences and in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses, and can customize legal solutions for clients based on the clients’ specific needs. Our Performance

Litigation and arbitration: Yidao is specialized in a variety of contract disputes, real estate development, cooperation and construction contract disputes, stock equity disputes, foreign capital merger and acquisition disputes, business secret disputes and corporate deadlock disputes.

In 2011, we successfully represented our clients in 1,500 litigation cases involving tens of millions of Chinese Yuan. These cases ranged from shareholder interests disputes, foreign capital mergers and acquisitions disputes, commodity house cooperation and development disputes, business secrets disputes, real estate development and cooperation disputes and other civil and commercial dispute cases of all kinds. Our average success rate during the period of 2010-2011 was above 90%, and the total amount in payment remedies was approximately one billion Yuan. In 2012, we topped the legal industry in Tianjin with wins in over 50 cases at the intermediate people’s court, the higher people’s court and the Supreme People’s Court. Our well-received team has also ensured professionalism in criminal defense in cases including violation of property, corruption, bribery, misfeasance, and disruption of economic order, etc. We have provided legal remedies of innocence or misdemeanor to numerous entrepreneurs, senior managers as well as government staff.

Non-litigation field: Yidao is specialized in real estate, foreign investment, merger and acquisition, corporate business, private equity fund and risk investment (PE/VC), and overseas investment (ODI), etc.

Real estate, international trade and investment, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity are the core fields of our non-litigation legal work. The amount of money involved in outward direct investments, mergers and acquisitions that we operate is well over ten billion Yuan per year, ranking number one among all the law firms in Tianjin. In 2010, our non-litigation team secured a 1.3 billion-dollar investment in the United States by a Chinese state-owned enterprise, an investment in Nigeria, construction of a model town invested by Tianjin Binhai Zhejiang Investment Group, equity mergers and acquisitions of TPCO Investment, and the private equity fundraising of JiFu Fund Distribution. With a total business volume of over ten billion Yuan in the non-litigation field, Yidao’s non-litigation business team maintains a leading position in the field.
