Over the course of the great majority of my 25-year legal career, its been just me and a secretary in a solo personal injury law practice. The legal skills I’ve acquired over the past ¼ Century I now offer the legal community, assisting attorneys and law firms with their cases and case loads in whatever manner they find most beneficial.
The highlights of my career have included the presentation of oral argument before the Supreme Court of Indiana and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the fortune of achieving a Million Dollar result in four cases, three by settlement and one by jury trial, in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability and civil rights litigation. And between and during these journeys, I’ve represented hundreds of other personal injury victims in every type of accident from automobile to slips and falls and beyond.
In my humble opinion, my best skill has lied in 1) recognizing a good case and declining a poor one, in 2) developing the facts necessary to support the claim and in 3) legal writing. The other side only has so much time and money to spend, and I want them spending their time reading and responding to my discovery, my motions and my thoughts on the case.
