Whitmarsh Family Law, PC was founded back in 2008 by Michael Whitmarsh, and has become a leading legal resource for those dealing with family law issues across the state of California, especially the City of Los Angeles.
Our firm is about helping people. We understand that family law litigation can be particularly stressful and emotionally taxing, especially in cases involving domestic violence, or when children and their emotional, psychological, and financial security are a key concern.

Michael L. Whitmarsh completed his undergraduate studies at U.C.L.A. in 2002. He then taught children with autism and trained and competed in triathlons for two years before attending Southwestern University School of Law’s evening program. Michael worked full time at a business litigation law firm while earning his J.D. He graduated in December 2007, passed the February 2008 bar exam and since then he has dedicated his practice to exclusively to family law matters. Michael is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Southern California Family Law American Inn of Court along with local formal and informal study groups.
