At Trinity Family Law, a Dupage County Divorce Law Firm, we are dedicated to helping people resolve legal issues in a non-adversarial way. Our divorce clients hire us to resolve their issues using the collaborative process, or if appropriate, an uncontested or cooperative process. Collaborative Divorce (also referred to as Collaborative Practice) is an innovative, rational approach to divorce in a process that too often overlooks the fact that real people and real families are involved.
The Collaborative Practice Option
When a couple gets married, they do not plan to break up. In some cases, however, people grow in different directions and despite their best efforts, it becomes clear that a divorce is best for all involved. In Collaborative Divorce, couples agree to avoid litigation and instead commit to a process where they work together to find solutions to their differences.
