Our firm was founded over 50 years ago, in 1961, by Richard G. Gugliotta and has been a full service firm since inception. In 1995, John C. Gugliotta joined the practice and expanded the firm to include a California Office. Both Richard G. Gugliotta and John C. Gugliotta are experienced trial attorneys and have handled numerous jury trails representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all major areas of litigation.
Erina R. Pozini joined the firm in 2013, prior to which she served as assistant general counsel to a publicly traded company with a focus on corporate law, regulatory compliance, employment law, contracts and litigation.
We are a full service firm and provide quality representation along with a strong concern for the overall well-being of our clients. We handle Criminal Defense; Business Formation and Litigation; Franchise Law Matters; Real Estate Transactions and Litigation throughout the states of New York and Southern California. Other areas of our practice include the drafting of Wills and Trusts; Estate Planning; Probate, Will Contests, Employment Law and Corporate Law.
Our office provides general counsel services to small and mid-sized businesses in both New York and California, providing contract review, risk management and general business advice.
We also specialize in Art Law providing legal services to the art community. This includes the representation of galleries, collectors, artists, documentary filmmakers and musicians. We provide guidance in numerous areas, including Copyright and Trademark Law; Commercial Leases; Gallery/Artist Contracts; Gallery/Collector Agreements; Art Consultant Agreements; Insurance Issues; and when necessary Litigation.
The firm’s New York office handles matters in the New York Metropolitan areas, as well as outlying counties. The Newport Beach, Califonia office handles matters throughout Southern California which emcompasses Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
