Jeremy E. Karpel is an attorney practicing exclusively criminal defense. He is licensed to practice in all California State courts, in the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Central Districts of California, and in the California Supreme Court.
He has experience handling State and federal cases throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, and Monterey Counties. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society (Criminal Justice) from University of California, Santa Barbara. He has a Juris Doctorate from Glendale College of Law where he was on Law Review and was Student Body President.
Mr. Karpel is a regular adjunct instructor for several Criminal Justice Department’s teaching courses in Criminology, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Investigations, and Criminal Law.
Mr. Karpel is also a licensed Private Investigator and has managed and directed complex trial matters with experts and investigators for over a decade. He has further extensive experience with high profile and complex investigations and has acquired training in interview techniques and police procedures.
