About Our Firm

Since 1987, Powers & Santola, LLP., has been driven by the expectation of excellence in all that it does on behalf of its clients. We are always motivated by a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives, and to obtain full and fair monetary compensation for their injuries.

We firmly believe that it’s essential to meticulously prepare each case we handle as if it will go to trial. Insurance companies and our opponents know that we zealously advocate for every client we represent.

We will not under any circumstance compromise the full value of a case for a quick settlement.

We devote all of our resources, skills and experience to handling select cases involving serious personal injuries. Our clients have suffered permanent, life-changing injuries, such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, closed head injuries, amputation injuries (loss of limb), severe burns, birth injuries, or injuries from hospital and medical malpractice. Some of our clients have lost a family member to wrongful death due to someone else’s negligence in a car accident, workplace accident or medical malpractice.

We recognize that a serious injury changes a person’s life in ways that cannot be addressed by money alone. We strive to help each of our clients restore independence, dignity and meaning to their life.

The Powers & Santola Difference

Choosing a law firm to help you recover from a serious injury is an important decision. What factors should you consider?

Results. The results we obtain for our clients are an important barometer of our work. We have obtained millions of dollars of verdicts and settlements for our injured clients. We know how to thoroughly build legal cases, aggressively negotiate full and fair settlements, and successfully try cases in front of juries if need be.
Reputation. Our attorneys are regularly recognized as “Best Lawyers in America” and as Super Lawyers. A word about these honors: They are based on reviews and recommendations provided by clients and attorneys outside of our law firm to the directories that publish the lists. That means our clients and peers are giving us high ratings. Similarly, Powers & Santola has been recognized as a one of the “Best Law Firms” in the country for personal injury and medical malpractice law. Our lawyers are regularly asked to speak on important legal topics, and have written leading law books relied on by other attorneys and judges. In short, our lawyers are leaders in the respective fields of medical malpractice and personal injury law. Insurance companies and our opponents know this. They know that we take cases with merit and will not settle for anything less than full value of a case. They know we have the skills and resources to obtain a jury verdict after a full trial. We also handle appeals. This means you can be assured that we will always see a case to the end.
Approach. Powers & Santola handles only select cases, and we devote our full resources to each and every client. We make a point of establishing a close working relationship with each client. No matter when you call, someone is always available who personally knows your case and can answer your questions.
