In many ways, Miller Johnson today is much like the Miller Johnson first established more than 50 years ago. Now there are computers on our desks and PDAs in our pockets, but our family-focused culture and commitment to partnering with our clients is the same.
From day one, firm culture and client relationships have set Miller Johnson apart. John Cummiskey, a founding member of the firm, stressed that our clients are our partners – our family – and that truly understanding their businesses and/or challenges is essential to providing good counsel.
The family oriented relationship we aim to have with clients also applies to our employees. We make an effort to include family in firm events, and encourage attorneys and staff to make family a priority. More than 10 percent of our workforce is part-time, including attorneys and staff.
