McGlinchey Stafford was founded, four decades ago, with the intent of providing alternatives to staid legal approaches.
Instead of being bound by convention and tradition, we focus on our clients’ businesses to innovate and customize solutions to their legal challenges. From Fortune 5 to Fortune 500 companies, governmental authorities, industrial leaders, entrepreneurial organizations and pioneers, we provide clients with the highest level of attention and service.
Since opening our doors in 1974 in New Orleans, the firm has expanded to 13 offices that are strategically aligned to most effectively meet our clients’ needs. Now, lawyers operate from offices in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Washington, DC, with capacity to represent clients in matters in all 50 states and internationally.
Charitable Giving

Albany is the capital of New York and a commercial and governmental hub of the Northeast. The attorneys in our Albany office represent clients in consumer financial law and banking law, providing legal counsel to financial institutions conducting business across the country.
The Albany office is conveniently located near the New York State Capitol Building, which allows our attorneys to closely monitor developing legislation and emerging regulations that impact our business clients.
