The Firm of Mahida and Maina traces its footsteps back to 1952 during the Kenyan State of Emergency when a young Lawyer by the name Bhailal Patel came to Kenya as part of the legal team defending the Late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Mr. Patel decided to set up his practice under the name BHAILAL PATEL & PATEL ADVOCATES. He practiced mostly as a Constitutional Lawyer and later on diversified his practice incorporating Conveyance and Land transactions.
