Kyle R. Puro, Esq. is an attorney practicing family and juvenile dependency law in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Prior to starting The Law Offices of Kyle R. Puro, Mr. Puro worked as a court appointed attorney for the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, Inc. (LADL) representing parents involved in the Los Angeles County Foster Care System. As a court appointed attorney, he has litigated hundreds of cases involving the abuse and neglect of children. He devoted his life to fighting DCFS, CPS, social workers, minors’ attorneys, and conservative Judges to reunite children with their parents. Mr. Puro has litigated negligent death of children cases, sexual abuse, serious physical abuse involving broken bones, substance abuse, and domestic violence cases. He has worked with experts in the fields of radiology, pathology, orthopedics, pediatrics, toxicology, psychology, and substance abuse.

Additionally, he has won a writ in the Court of Appeals stopping the adoption of child due to a judicial officer’s flagrant violation of due process. Mr. Puro’s extensive knowledge of the foster care system, unflinching courage in the courtroom, and an up-front nature with his clients wins results. Kyle regularly appears in media on the National Child Safe Radio Program on the UBN Network as a guest to discuss issues involving child abuse and neglect.

Prior to working in Dependency Court, Mr. Puro practiced family law in Los Angeles and Orange County. The experience has allowed him to work with a large diversity of families. Mr. Puro has worked cases involving international and intra-state child custody disputes. He has extensive experience in helping retrieve abducted children. Presently, he handles matters involving divorce, child custody, paternity, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, community property, separate property, and child abuse and neglect. Mr. Puro began his career specializing in same-sex marriages working with the LGBT community. He obtained his juris doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and his B.A. in English in his hometown of Flint, Michigan at the University of Michigan-Flint.
