Todd J. Krouner founded the Law Office of Todd J. Krouner in October 1994 and for nearly the past two decades has worked on a diverse range of plaintiffs’ litigation matters. In July 2005, he obtained a verdict of $7.25 million, which is the largest verdict ever for a case involving LASIK medical malpractice.
In settling an asthma-related medical malpractice claim against Jamaica Hospital Center for $1.8 million, Mr. Krouner also obtained an extraordinary decision permitting punitive damages against the hospital. Mr. Krouner has also prosecuted medical malpractice cases involving hysterectomies, delayed cancer diagnosis, plastic surgery and breast reduction cases, and birth injuries, among others.
