Overview:
Matt was born and grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Bowdoin College and graduated in 1999 with a degree in Religion. In college, Matt played on the baseball team and tutored children at local schools. After college, he taught high school and coached baseball and soccer at St. Sebastian’s in Needham, Massachusetts. After three years of teaching, Matt enrolled in the University of Maine School of Law, where he focused his studies on criminal law. He interned at the York County District Attorney’s office and gained valuable experience in family law and criminal defense while working at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Soon after graduating from law school in 2005, Matt started his own practice.
