Overview:
I have been practicing law in Maine since 2007 after moving here from Washington, D.C. Originally from Connecticut, I had been visiting Maine all my life. I studied environmental issues at college in northern New York then worked in environmental and energy fields in D.C. before attending law school. I chose to live in Maine for its natural beauty and sense of community.
I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Portland Independent Business and Community Alliance (better known as Portland Buy Local). Previously I have been a Director of the Pond Island Association, a land ownership organization in downeast Maine.
Apart from my legal work, I own a photography printing service in Portland. Recently my family and I moved from Portland to Cape Elizabeth.
