About Attorney Cory E. McGinn
As an Illinois native and DuPage County personal injury attorney, I am committed to helping injury victims obtain the compensation they need and deserve. Raised in a family with many doctors and medical professionals, I received a great deal of exposure to the medical field. When coupled with my experience as a pre-medical student, this background gives me an advantage when I read medical records and interact with medical professionals on behalf of my clients.
I attended Downers Grove North High School and Andrews University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in biology. I received my juris doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois, which is a top 10 public law school and among the top 25 law schools in the country.
During law school, I worked as a law clerk with the former Mayor of Champaign, where I assisted with personal injury cases and honed my legal research and writing skills. After graduating from law school, I worked at a law firm in Ottawa, Illinois, where I represented clients in both workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, and advocated on their behalf in court.
