Overview:
Ven Johnson is the founding attorney of Johnson Law, PLC, which is based in Detroit. This personal injury law firm serves clients in Michigan and nationwide. He has handled cases in state and federal courts in most Michigan jurisdictions and in courtrooms throughout the United States. Ven has worked on numerous high-profile cases winning over $100 million in jury verdicts and achieving case settlements totaling more than $300,000,000.
A dedicated fighter, Ven is licensed in Michigan, Washington and New York. He has been representing victims against insurance companies, big business and government for 29 years. He earned his undergraduate degree at Kalamazoo College in 1983 and received his Juris Doctor at the University of Detroit-School of Law in 1986.
A believer in giving back to the community, Ven is a member of the RESTORE Foundation – a juvenile and adult drug court; a volunteer to the Pontiac Alumni Association – providing tennis programs for Pontiac City Youth; a member of the Detroit American Inns of Court Program at UofD-Mercy; a Board Member of the Parashakthi Temple; and a mentor, fundraiser, and supporter to many other educational and community programs.

In 1986 Ven passes the Michigan Bar on his first attempt – and he has been fighting for the legal rights of clients ever since.
Upon graduation, Ven works at Gromek, Bendure and Thomas in Detroit, Michigan. Practices in all areas of personal injury.
Works for Kohl, Secrest in Farmington Hills. Practices in all areas of personal injury.
Ven joins Fieger, Fieger, and Schwartz law firm in Southfield, Michigan in 1995.
Less than six years later Ven is named a partner at Fieger, Fieger, Kenney & Johnson in 2001.
As senior trial lawyer at the Fieger firm, Ven works on numerous high-profile cases winning over $100 million in jury verdicts and achieving case settlements totaling more than $250,000,000.
