“This client was a young man who was severely injured in a DUI car crash. He became a quadriplegic and his life was forever changed by this drunken driver,” Johnson said. “There is no amount of compensation I could obtain for him that could make him whole again. It was heartbreaking.” The case left an indelible mark on Johnson. After the case ended, he pursued an affiliation with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. His sponsorship of the local Walk Like MADD fundraiser helps support efforts to educate drivers about the impact of drunk driving as well as help victims of DUI crashes and their families with various services.
