■ Advised and assisted Vienna Insurance Group in the acquisition of controlling interest in two Albanian insurance companies, Intersign Sh.a and InterAlbanian Sh.a
■ Acted, in association with DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach, as legal advisor to IFC, for the privatisation through tender procedures of four state-owned hydropower plants; total closed value of approximately EUR 110 million IT:
■ Advised and assisted Cez Albania in ICT infrastructure, software and web applications licensing/transfer agreement with electricity distribution operator of Albania
■ Assisted Aleat during the implementation of e-Trust electronic platform for the rendering of secure communication services to the citizens by the Albanian government and other public institution
IP:
■ Advised and assisted Budějovický Budvar in ‘Budweiser’ trademark litigation case against US brewer Anheuser Busch, as well as in several opposing procedures related to the registration of client’s trademarks in Albania
■ Advised and assisted CEZ a.s in trademark protection and licensing matters
■ Advised and assisted Armani Spa. in trademark infringement litigation case
■ Advised and assisted ENI Sp.a. in trademark infringement case

■ Advised and assisted Agon Channel in the setup and regulatory matters for new TV Channel AGON
■ Advised and assisted Velti in regulatory requirements and structuring of SMS marketing campaigns and services
■ Advised and assisted Verizon in operation of Albanian subsidiary

■ Advised and assisted Hilton Hotels for the development of new hotel projects in Albania
Gambling:
■ Advised and assisted William Hill in regulatory on-line gambling matters
■ Advised and assisted APEX in regulatory gambling matters
Banking & Finance:
■ Advised and assisted Tirana Bank and Piraeus Bank Group in corporate, financial and debt restructuring deal with City Park Sh.a (ongoing)
■ Advised Banka Societe Generale Albania in drafting new set of security documents in relation to latest amendments of Albanian law on securing charges and financial collateral
Energy:
■ Advised and assisted CEZ a.s and its subsidiaries in Albania in relation to regulatory matters and disputes with Albania authorities, regarding the privatisation and subsequent state commissioning of the national energy distribution operator
■ Advised and assisted Energji Ashta in the implementation of the Ashta HPP concession project
■ Advised and assisted concessionary company for the implementation of the concession related to the erection of a major Hydro Power Plant, in Kalivaç
■ Advised and assisted Italian companies in the acquisition of controlling interests in several HPP Concession projects in Albania
Utilities & Infrastructure:
■ Acted, in association with DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach, as legal advisor to IFC, for the structuring of a new solid waste management concession project
■ Acted as advisor for Degremont during the tender procedures for the Greater Tirana Sewerage System Improvement Project
