Starting at that Harris County District Attorney’s Office, he quickly rose up the ranks based on his trial wins and relentless work ethic. Sometimes trying two cases in one week, he gained invaluable knowledge, experience, and most importantly, respect from colleagues and judges.
After leaving the DA’s Office in 2006, Matt has spent the better part of his daily life preparing, reviewing, and working criminal cases from beginning through trial. His team of research assistants, experts, and professional investigators help him deliver awesome results for his clients.
The underlying thread of our firm is that learning never stops. Matt is always training his legal skills. Despite having over 60 criminal trials under his belt, Matt is a 2015 graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer’s College in Wyoming. Lawyers spend one-month on a ranch in Wyoming in an intensive trial skills program designed to train lawyers to rise to elite levels of their practice.
