The name of the firm goes back to 1911. Max Guyer and Dardo Regules developed a close friendship when going through Law School together. Upon graduating together, they decided to jointly set up a law firm.
At that time in Uruguay, the individual practice of the law was customary, so at the beginning, the association between the two young lawyers did not go much further than the sharing of expenses. The name “Estudio Guyer & Regules”, though, was in use from the beginning. Our great trajectory and expertise allow us to achieve excellence and stand out widely in each Practice Area that we carry out with great commitment for our clients.
In a similarly dynamic spirit, Guyer & Regules has not lagged in resorting to the newest technology to implement its service strategy. We feel it is fair to say that our firm has pioneered in applying technology geared to optimizing the synergic potential inherent in the combination of its professionals’ varied and ever-expanding experience. Our clients have direct access, through an extranet, to their matters and cases.
