To do this effectively, we listen to our clients, stay on top of frequent changes that can affect them, and implement strategies that will lead to a better tomorrow. Our office limits representation to specific areas of law so that we know we are providing the highest level of service to the clients who entrust their cases to us.
Mr. Goldstein has represented athletes, artists, inventors, songwriters and other content creators in protecting their property, privacy, negotiating contracts, and in licensing deals. He is an artist himself an brings a unique and understanding perspective to branding, marketing, and valuing the original works of his clients. He has negotiated deals with network reality television shows, record labels, and art galleries.
An experienced bankruptcy attorney, Jerry D. Goldstein counsels debtors and creditors in all aspects of Chapter 7, 13, and 11 filings. Goldstein leads the American Bankruptcy Institutes’ Special Project Task Force in Court Administration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
As lead counsel in most of the firms employment and labor matters, Jerry has defended employers and recovered large verdicts for individuals. He is currently on the role of Cornell University’s certified labor mediators and arbitrators.
Goldstein has prepared and argued cases in United States District Courts and the United States Court of Appeals. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Connecticut in 1993, he holds experience in the areas of Section 1983 Civil Litigation, EEO Litigation, Business Valuation Litigation, Bankruptcy, Art, Real Estate and Corporate Law.
Jerry holds a state finance certification conferred by the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority in 2008. He is certified for the Register of Mediators, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware, Eastern District of New York, and Southern District of New York.
