Travis helps people stop the harassment of creditors, rebuild their credit, and find affordable, effective and lasting solutions through bankruptcy under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 or Chapter 11, or through other available debt relief options. Prior to opening his own law office, Travis practiced with several law firms in Columbus where, in addition to handling bankruptcy matters, he also gained extensive experience advising clients on business matters and handling a wide variety of litigation matters before Ohio’s state and appellate courts. His bankruptcy experience covers more than ten years of providing advice and representation to individuals and businesses in all phases of Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, including at the appellate level. Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA and an MBA from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He earned his juris doctor law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in Columbus, where he was Business Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and recipient of Cali Awards for Excellence in Legal Writing and Internet Law. Travis is admitted to practice before all Ohio state courts as well as the federal district and bankruptcy courts for northern and southern Ohio. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Credit Education Coalition, an alliance of bankruptcy attorneys and others founded to foster professional development and consumer awareness of creditor and debtor rights and responsibilities, collection activities and more.
