Corporate History
The law firm of Dube, Manikai and Hwacha (DMH) opened its doors to clients on 1 June 1998. It currently consists of eight (8) Partners, three (3) Associates and thirty-seven (37) Support Staff. The firm is known for delivering holistic legal solutions, professionally, promptly and in a cost efficient manner. The firm is composed of well known legal personalities within the legal profession and draws freely from a span of over hundred (100) years legal experience that the Partners and their Associates collectively bring to the practice.
The firm offers a wide range boutique of corporate services to mature and emerging markets. This purpose is reflected in the structure, membership and the growth strategies which the firm drives.
DMH has structured and staffed its operations, under a Managing Partner, to meet the demands of contemporary commercial and general practice.
International Experience
DMH is an international law firm, whose work has spanned the entire globe in terms of activity, with foot-prints in the SADC region, West Africa, East Africa, the UK, USA, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Europe and Russia. The firm is a correspondent of law firms in the United Kingdom, South Africa, United States of America, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi and Botswana.

The official language in Zimbabwe is English.
N.B. Some partners are learning to speak and write French and Portugese.
The Services We Offer
DMH’s core business is to provide corporate legal services and solutions ranging from Trade, Investment and development law practice, major acquisitions and take-overs through privatisations to probate matters such as estate planning. The firm also serves as outside counsel to major corporations, parastatalas and private enterprises in general. To a limited extent, the firm participates in criminal litigations in defence of accused persons as an overflow from its corporate clients.
DMH seeks to obtain the highest standards of excellence and efficiency. In pursuit of this ideal, the firm believes in specialization and knowledge management and is thus structured and organised into major specific paractice areas.
DMH operates in teams mainly dedicated to the chosen areas of specialisation. The team approach ensures that DMH is available to its clients at all material times and that it delivers quality legal solutions in all the mandates it handles. Team membership is flexible. One Professional staff can be a member of two or more teams provided quality is not compromised. Each team has a leader who is accountable to the full partnership regarding all mandates under his or her supervision.
