The founder of the Consumer Bankruptcy Center, P.C., Lance A. Raphael, is an attorney who has had experience with hundreds of consumer fraud cases. Over the years, Mr. Raphael has been able to help many of his clients vindicate their rights against deceptive or abusive collection agents, banks who charge deceptive late fees, shady car dealers, crooked home repair companies, and other businesses that attempt to take advantage of the ordinary consumer.
Mr. Raphael has been invited to give advice to consumers by delivering lectures for the general public and working with legal assistance programs associated with the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Attorney Generals Office, consumer fraud section. He has also been a guest teacher at the consumer rights course taught at John Marshall Law School. Mr. Raphael is also an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates; a national legal association devoted to the protection of consumers.
