The London office opened in 1998 to enhance the firm’s service to clients doing business in the United Kingdom, Europe and internationally. With one of the largest dedicated energy practices in the city of London, Baker Botts London lawyers have an in-depth knowledge of the complex legal issues facing those looking to invest and do business in the jurisdiction. London also has a thriving dispute resolution practice, with lawyers who have experience in complex litigation and international arbitration and mediation. Today, the office has a growing team of over 20 lawyers, both U.K. and internationally qualified.

The office actively supports local charitable organizations and is a member of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group, a charity which coordinates pro bono work within the legal profession. The London office also assists Hillside Clubhouse, a charity that offers work and social opportunities to people with long-term mental health problems.
