AVM was founded by Antonio Vicente Marques in 2003. The firm originally began assisting clients as a full service law firm operating through its various offices in Africa and Europe with an integrated team of more than 40 lawyers.
AVM has grown from a Luanda-based law firm into a truly international practice. AVM has offices in Luanda and Cabinda (Angola), Lisbon and Porto (Portugal) and Maputo (Mozambique).
The need to create a common platform which would collect new synergies and partnerships originated a new continuous process which has been materialised as the AVM Legal Network.
