William I. Aronwald began his career in the New York County District Attorney’s Office. He later served as a Special Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, handling complex organized crime and white collar crime cases. After ten years as a prosecutor, he opened his own criminal defense law firm in partnership with now-retired defense lawyers Daniel J. Pykett and John Bartels, Jr.
What this experience means for you as a client is that you will be working with a defense lawyer who really understands the criminal justice system and white collar crime cases and the tactics that prosecutors use in federal and state felony cases. Mr. Aronwald also has considerable experience if handling appeals in both state and federal criminal cases.
High level criminal cases (and many personal injury cases), are won or lost on the quality of the evidence, as well as defense strategies. At Aronwald & Pykett we work with investigators and retired IRS agents to gather and review evidence to build a strategic and well reasoned defense in your case. Mr. Aronwald has handled many complex white collar criminal cases, including charges of political corruption, tax fraud, healthcare fraud, violent crimes, and high-level felony drug cases. No case is too challenging.
