Ms. Araujo started in a small firm where she practiced for five years as instructing attorney in family law matters, property and commercial disputes and insurance claims.
Ms. Araujo joined Lex Caribbean (then De Nobriga Inniss & Company) in 1995, and assumed responsibility for a large litigation portfolio comprising banking and insurance claims and general commercial matters. She later took up conveyancing before leaving Trinidad in 2001 to establish Lex Caribbean’s practice in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
