Anderson & Anderson LLP is an international law firm established in 1885. Long established in the United States, Anderson & Anderson’s lawyers began work in Asia in 1963. Said lawyers first established offices in Asia in 1972, when one of its attorneys became the first American attorney to represent foreign parties in China. The firm in Asia operates in Greater China including Hong Kong and Macao, Mongolia, India.

Anderson & Anderson’s lawyers are recognized practitioners, some of whom are prominent in their respective legal fields and some of whom have published and frequently lectured on current legal issues. Our attorneys include American and Asian lawyers. The firm’s attorney’s legal prominence in North and East Asia was recognized for many years by its prior appointment as the official author and later reviser of Martindale-Hubbell’s China, Mongolia and Macao Law Digests.

The firm’s attorneys in Asia have handled challenging cross-border corporate finance transactions, ranging from mergers and acquisitions, loan and leasing agreements, convertible debentures, public offerings, options, licensing, subordinated debt, pledges, guaranty’s, banking documentation, bonds, deeds, as well as undertaking to advise banking institutions on securities, bullion, options and derivative transactions. The firm has handled major loan agreements and leasing transactions including the finance leases of aircraft by banks for Mongolia Airline MIAT and for Chinese airlines.
