Have advised and been the legal counsel on transactions in the nature of, inter alia, amalgamations / mergers, de-mergers, hive-offs, spin-offs, acquisitions of existing businesses / company(ies) by a foreign entity, setting up of a new company in India for foreign companies, setting up trusts for venture capitalists, Mutual Funds etc., setting up charitable trusts and advising on the taxation aspect thereof and the purchase / sale / mortgage / lease of immovable property.
Also advise on issues relating to Companies Act, Trademarks Act, Copyright Act, attracting investments through the private placement route, investing into India by NRIs, FIIs, OCBs etc., the modes of commencing business in India, exchange control / foreign exchange regulations etc.
