Kermani Law Firm is a boutique law firm with a practice focused largely on real estate and business litigation, real estate purchase and sale transactions, commercial lease drafting and litigation, and mediation of real estate and business disputes.
We litigate against and defend real estate brokers and agents in cases involving negligence and fraud.
In our real estate litigation practice, we represent buyers and sellers of real property, landlords, tenants, real estate developers, investors, real estate brokers, real estate agents and brokers in commission disputes, Procuring Cause, claims against brokers, principals, landlords and tenants.
In our transactional real estate practice, we teach risk management and consumer protection to real estate brokers and realtors.
We represent buyers and sellers of real property in the purchase and sale of real property assets, from residential purchases to multi-million dollar commercial transactions.
We emphasize personal attention to our clients. We take pride in preserving the one-to-one client contact so often missing in larger firms.
We focus on resolving problems efficiently, economically, and creatively, often without resorting to litigation or trial. Although our attorneys include experienced trial attorneys, lawsuits are frequently not the best solution. A good attorney keeps his or her client out of court, if possible. We educate our clients in preventative measures to avoid litigation.
However, when litigation is necessary, our litigation style is aggressive, creative, highly focused, and result-orientated. Our cases are set up for trial from day one, so that if negotiations fail, we have already laid the ground work and are prepared to go to trial. We represent our clients zealously and at the lowest cost possible.
Prior to establishing her practice, the principal of the firm, Ms. Samira Kermani practiced law at a national law firm in downtown Los Angeles, and subsequently served in-house at a Fortune 50 Company. Ms. Kermani has owned and operated a national real estate franchise and practiced, as a Broker, at Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North office. She is the founder and CEO of a full-service real estate brokerage, Karlton Stone.
Ms. Kermani has been designated an expert witness on brokers’ fiduciary duties and the standard of care. She is a member of the California Association of Realtors’ Legal Affairs Forum. Ms. Kermani serves as an Arbitrator in commission disputes between brokers. She is a frequent author and speaker on brokers’ duties, standard of care, procuring cause disputes and other real estate litigation matters.
