Overview:
Shannon P. O’Malley attended law school in Michigan. During that time, he worked for the Michigan Friend of the Court handling cases of child abuse and neglect. After he graduated, he passed the Illinois State Bar joined and participated with the Illinois Justice for Youth program.
Today, he is also admitted to the Northern District of Illinois Federal Trial Bar. He has represented countless clients in a variety of case types, including defense against violent crime charges, controlled substance (drug possession), individuals seeking driver’s license reinstatement, clients facing charges for serious traffic violations, and homeowners facing foreclosure.
I believe that all people have a right to have their day in court. That all people deserve to be represented by competent counsel and to have an impartial jury decide their case. I care for the people of Illinois.

In state court I have represented countless misdemeanor and felony offenses dealing with varying violent crimes, arson, robbery (armed), UUW (unlawful use of a weapon, also referred to as gun charges), and PCS (possession of a controlled substance or drug possession) cases.
