Salata & Reese, LLP
Experienced, Aggressive Fulton County Attorneys
With more than 20 years of legal experience, J Thomas Salata and Lindsay Reese are ranked among their peers as two of the best trial lawyers in Georgia. They have earned a reputation for tough advocacy and caring service to their clients.
Contentious Divorces to Felonies
We take on the cases other lawyers do not want: the bitter contest of wills in a high-asset divorce, families in violent relationships, the criminal defense of a drug manufacturer. Why? Because we do not like bullies. And because we want to help people who deserve to win. We practice in the areas of family law, criminal law, DUI and bankruptcy.
Code Violations and Licensing Help
We are familiar with the various municipal codes and licensing standards applicable in communities throughout the Greater Atlanta area. Whether you have been accused of violating a code or are just having trouble obtaining a license, we can help.
Discounts for Military Personnel, Police and Firefighters
The people who defend our country, and work to protect our communities and property, work hard for us. They put their lives at risk doing their work every day. We at Salata & Reese, LLP, appreciate it. To show our gratitude we offer special discounts for all military personnel and civil service workers, including police officers and firefighters.
Attorneys
Fulton County attorneys J Thomas Salata and Lindsay Reese are known throughout Georgia for their integrity, dedication and litigation skills. They are compassionate, too.
J Thomas Salata is a former investigator and firearms instructor. He worked in the insurance industry investigating insurance fraud. He saw many people hounded by insurance companies and decided he wanted to defend them rather than investigate them. He received his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta in 1998, and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1999. He was also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District and Middle District of Georgia. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Metro Atlanta Bankruptcy Attorneys and the current president of the North Fulton Bar Association.
Lindsay wanted to be a social worker, but decided she would be more effective helping people in the courtroom. She received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. She worked at a private law firm after graduation, and then went to the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office, where she represented people for DUI, drug trafficking, felony drug charges, theft, burglary and violent crimes. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the DeKalb Bar Association, the Cobb County Bar Association and the North Fulton Bar Association.
