Overview:
I, James A. Payonk, Jr., attorney at law, have given nearly 30 years of expertise to Chicago’s injured and accused, helping and protecting the life, livelihood, and future of clients facing debilitating injury and state and federal sentencing.
I have committed myself to providing high-quality legal services, putting my experience and dedication to work for my clients’ individualized needs. As a personal injury and criminal defense attorney, I know that I work for clients facing difficult challenges, clients who depend on me for results, and I do everything in my power to obtain those results, keeping clients well-informed of case progress and remaining constantly available to answer questions and allay fears.

I have been representing clients throughout Chicago and the southwest suburbs for almost three decades, handling in that time a wide range of personal injury and criminal law matters on behalf of clients from all walks of life. From my office in Orland Park I’ve helped victims of car and truck accidents, those with catastrophic injuries, and families left behind in wrongful death suits, and I’ve defended Illinois residents from charges of, among many others, robbery, kidnapping, and vehicular homicide. In my years of practice, there are few things I haven’t seen and few problems with which I haven’t dealt, and my experience in Chicago courts has given me an in-depth knowledge of staff and judges that allows me to craft the best possible case for each client that comes to me in need.

Serious injury and criminal charges require a committed and aggressive attorney if one’s future and livelihood is to be protected. I, James A. Payonk, Jr. have dedicated my life and practice to being that attorney, serving thousands of clients with the honesty and individualized attention that continues to make me a formidable adversary in Chicago courts.
